Pleasantly surprised! My kids wanted pizza so I thought why not try this cost effective chain. I ordered a small greek salad half expecting the pre-boxed (lame) salad. I was wrong! It was fresh and good. Also, I normally don't like bread sticks. These were soft and yummy. Will order again.

I don't typically like to review chains but......wtf, I was there. I think I got the wrong thing. From the look of the carryout menu I got with my order, the square looks righteous (I am such a sucker for those pictures! They NEVER look like that in real life though... It's a lot like those KFC/Popeye's commercials, wow it looks awesome but if you actually go to the store and get it you WILL be disappointed and more than likely, be very sick......kinda got that feeling here. At any rate, the rugrats had bible school next door and the lunch they served them was nasty ass tacos. (I know right? HTF does someone screw up TACOS?) But, unfortunately they did... so I thought I would hook the kids up with a greasewheel. Some stooge spinning a sign out front about a $5 large pep ready to go (Bonus!) so I pulled in. When we walked in, the lady behind the counter seemed upset at our arrival and was asking us hesitantly what we were doing there. I, myself, would've gone with the old "stand by" of "Hi, what can I get you today?" but it all seemed very trippy and weird. This was at noon so I figured the Dolly's' version of Hot and Ready would be relatively fresh.....no dice. It was on par with Lil Sleazers but at least the staff at Sleazers (the one in Berkley anyway) are really nice and super cool....and I don't even have to get out my damn car! I don't know what I really expected from a $5 pizza.....this was the first and only time comin here though.

I loved dollys strictly for the Hawaiian pizza because they put almonds on it. However due to my last 3 experiences with carry out AND delivery. I will NEVER order from them again. Their customer service is unlike anything I've ever dealt with. The last time they told me they would recook my order fresh and give me a complimentary pizza and to pay for the breadsticks i had already ordered to make up for it still not being there after an hour and a half. When he got to my house all he had was one pizza and my breadsticks with the regular bill. I asked what the deal was and the delivery driver shrugged his shoulders at me while walking to his car. I called the store and asked for a manager (Saturday around noon) and what sounded like a teenager told me there is no manager until Monday night and there delivery driver was technically in charge so to call back and talk to him. Never again.

Blech.. Want some grease? They got grease. We ordered a pepperoni pizza. The crust was really bad and overly greasy. Like Pizza Hut's crust Only greasier. A good meal for a group of acne ridden - brace -faced 16 year olds. Not so much for an old fart like me.

We usually order Dolly's because of the yummy creamy cheese dip for the breadsticks...and that is what we did this time. We ordered today at lunch for delivery, and it arrived in a timely fashion' however, it wasn't quite what we had ordered. We wanted extra sauce on both pizzas, but it wasn't there. We wanted the yummy cheese dip for the breadsticks, but we got ranch...so I called to complain, and to be honest, the person who took the call was very kind, apologetic, and took care of us. Had it not been for the kind response to the problem, we would never think of going back...but, everyone can mess up...it all depends on how it is dealt with, and I liked it!!
